BAD NEWS (For me)

Hopefully they can fix it and youl be out n about in no time.
My younger brother had a " growth " in his neck removed.
Thankfully it was benign, get well soon atb Iain

I have dropped you a PM.

I know what your going through as my wife is battling something similar. Let me know if you need to chat, or need any help as I am retired from commercial stalking and also starting to sell off some of the firearms I have........................too many anyway!

I had a craniotomy 13yrs ago then radio and chemo 5yrs ago, had to stop driving for a bit but kept rifles and guns. I made a point of staying in the pheasant syndicate and kept stalking. It kept me going. I still have scans every 6months and about 12 pills a day.
I know that if I don't t get hit by a bus, it will kill me but make the most of each day and do the things you love.
Feel free to contact me directly if you want a chat

So today I was scheduled for a routine (for me 40+ times in 20 yrs) ) throat op to clear scarring from radiotherapy to ease breathing problems.

Bad news they couldn’t do anything as discovered a growth in my throat, now waiting on biopsy and scan appointment. Not looking good so I’m going to say it… sorry mods… Fcuking…Sh1t.. Bu*ger… B*m.

Long story short I’m going to sell my shotties first then my rifles… in classified very soon there will be 2 x8 shot sect 1 shotguns….. one a Mossberg pump with C-lect choke the other a Hatson camo semi auto…will be very cheap but need to be collected and soon.. must have FAC slot.

All the very best

Wishing you the best.

Don’t be hasty. I’ve found that shooting is one of the things that has kept me going through my health issues over the past few years. It’s the only thing that I found that truly let me forget all the nonsense I was dealing with and be completely focused on something else for a few hours.

Im 2 years in remission from a nasty bout of bowel cancer (stage 3b) and I’ve just had a double hip replacement at the ripe age of 35 as a result of the chemo. I can imagine how you feel, it’s that “oh FFS here we go again!!”

Commendable camaraderie and fighting spirit amongst SD’s finest on this thread. Great to read. You all seem like the sort of blokes it would be a well spent afternoon to share a pint with.

You have absolutely nothing to lose in taking part in the human trials of use of ivermectin in the treatment of of cancer, it is one of the safest medicines known to mankind., and has been found in trials to have no fewer than 15 recognised methods of action which serve to destroy cancers from propagating and further developing.

In our country it is not generally given because many if not most oncologists stick to the routine conventional playbook/regimen; also the fact that it makes drug companies zero profit, being as cheap as chips to make and lack of intellectual patent being well past time of protected patent/intellectual property.

I’d respectfully urge you to look into its known benefits for yourself, along with fenbenzadole, it’s your call, and as before, you have nothing to lose by considering the evidence known thus far.

Wishing you all the best on your journey.

After suffering what I think is what they call long COVID for a year I tried ivermectin and it went.
I've also noticed that I haven't had a cold or flue for ages!
Take it!

Sorry to hear your bad news
But don’t give up your guns and shooting until you really have to
a mate of mine kept shooting till his last day he had a fair few cancer treatments and a pacemaker ended up having a stroke on the way home from the range

Sorry to hear your news. Hope it’s just a benign growth and nothing more.
