Hi, Have just joined the Stalking Directory. Am from the Midlands, Derbys/Staffs borders.
Live on our family run farm (ex dairy), now heavily diversified. Have used shotguns and rifles from a young age. Currently using .222, .22/250, .243, .25/06 and .270.
I reload for all of these, so hope to pick up some useful tips from SD members…
Latest purchase is a Sako 75 in .25/06. Very pleased.
Have stalked Roe, Red and Fallow. But mainly red hinds in SW Scotland.
Am interested in all aspects of stalking and rifle ownership and for the last 3 years have used copper only as the estate we stalk on in Scotland stipulates this.
I follow the SD posts most days with great interest. Thanks.

I'm miffed your allowed .243 .25 06. 270 I was refused a 25 06 until I got rid of either my .243 or .308.rules for some and rules for others

Will probably get rid of the .243 at some point. .25/06 seems a different beast entirely. For only marginally more recoil.

Hey nice introduction i use and reload for 2506 as well from a sako 85 finnlight 2, i use copper only for years now . Use it mainly for roe vermint control and boars . Only took a few fallows with it . Br from the continent

I'm on derbyshire/staffs borders but am under staffs as far as my FAC goes. My .25/06 and .270 were done over the phone. But getting my FAC way back was a hard slog...
