The contract will likely go to Dacia, or a Chinese electric vehicle
can’t see it being the INEOS Grenadier,Although I did see one parked at Knook Camp the other day.The contract will likely go to Dacia, or a Chinese electric vehicle![]()
Not even allowed to park them on-site now due to security concerns - I don't see it personally! The contract will likely go to Dacia, or a Chinese electric vehicle![]()
surely you cant be on about the Ajax hahaBe interesting to see what contract is attached with the roll out. I know there's massive issues with a recently in service piece of kit whereby the VMs are very restricted on what they can actually do.
Actually no. Fortunately I have had absolutely nothing to do with that platform. My comment was directed towards another "new into service" bit of kitsurely you cant be on about the Ajax haha
a lot of Chineese electronic items have the potential to listen and send info back, I work on a Mil base and were fitting out a building, nothing was allowed to be used if its origin or manufractured in China, even down to a screw or nailNot even allowed to park them on-site now due to security concerns - I don't see it personally!
Same here, we received a ruddy great list naming companies and components that we couldn't usea lot of Chineese electronic items have the potential to listen and send info back, I work on a Mil base and were fitting out a building, nothing was allowed to be used if its origin or manufractured in China, even down to a screw or nail
What about all the other vehicles, and trailers, didn't they need anything doing to them?Trouble is new vehicles mean a warranty period, so until that expires REME cant put a spanner to them. Good friend of mine left as he found himself sitting around bored still when the LR Wolf first arrived.
Sorry, bad grammar in my post. I don't see MOD going for Chinese replacements personally would be better, knowing what we know about their data gatheringa lot of Chinese electronic items have the potential to listen and send info back, I work on a Mil base and were fitting out a building, nothing was allowed to be used if its origin or manufactured in China, even down to a screw or nail
You can't get better than a Kwik fit fitterWas there a beginning of them?
Glorified kwik fit fitters…

Rather like a LandroverReally they need a pickup/flatbed type platform which can fit a removeable/interchangeable modular rear unit, of which there would be several variants for different functions.
Yes, but today most young drivers need to Google the location of the bonnet catch so what chance they are up for pulling plugs & points, let alone popping a new head gasket on in under 40-minutes?If only all motors could be simple to fix as they were in Ford Anglia/Cortina/old Landy times . Paying a lot more now for a lot less qualitiy
POINTS? Mr. K.Yes, but today most young drivers need to Google the location of the bonnet catch so what chance they are up for pulling plugs & points, let alone popping a new head gasket on in under 40-minutes?
