There are 100's of us still waiting for an unbiased like for like, in full darkness, at range brand comparison at the same time, with the same illuminators to appear - only then can any of us say with certainty, which of the latest NV may have an advantage in terms of clarity at distance over another brand - evidence based is the only credible assessment and we can then draw our own conclusions from what we see with our own eyes !

Have to Agree, he didn’t seem massively impressed& Yet in one of his previous videos he really seemed to rate it! ( I’m a little confused by him to be fair
) I still have one on order like you and will refrain from judging it till I have it mounted on the rifle and use it for real 
I saw lots of different digital scopes at the stalking show and to be honest I wasn’t blown away by any of them, that environment is Not real world and Every man and his dog has changed settings on them scopes and not everyone’s eyes are the same 
Chris Parkins review seemed rushed, he commented he had a far from ideal illuminator and as you said he seemed to have a different mindset than his initial review of the 1st release last year. Other reviews of the initial demo units 1st released, gave far better images in darkness with a decent illuminator. Yes, exactly what I thought. He seemed in a bad mood from the start, not sure why.
