Petition regarding fish eating birds raised by the NGO

I remember a group of 6 mergansers arriving at a stocked pond and the fish were gone in a few days!

Restored a farm pond and stocked it with pure crucian carp as part of the national crucian conservation project.

The black death wiped out every fish over winter. I also encounter them while fishing a tiny local stream that is 6 to 8 ft wide in places and on other small farm ponds.

In the hope that one day sensible control of a damaging invasive species will be permitted .

Very interesting thread - i never realised there were 2 species - one native and one not
