Wanted: Scope for bench rest target shooting with rimfire

Looking for a scope around 10-50x60 SFP …it’s specifically for 25yd & 50yd comps at my club…..going on a dedicated target rifle and
not used for anything else.

Without breaking the bank you can pick up a Vector Minotaur or Sentinel second hand, they come up regularly on the airgun sites as well as fleabay for £125-£150 ish.
I use the Minotaur on a Tikka T1X, the eye box can be a bit tight on full mag, but I did come joint first out of 12+ shooters the other day at 50 yards so can't complain.

Vortex Optics would be my choice. Good quality and unmatched warranty.
Hawke are good enough for rimfires too.

Yes..the Vortex Minotaur gets good reviews and would be fine for me but if buying new the falcon got a much better review.

I spoke to someone who actually preferred the Falcon T50 to one of their high mag March scopes.

This was the info’…also..due to issues with the illuminated reticle it’s often advertised non IR.
Summary & Recommendations

• • Choose the Falcon if your primary goal is pristine, edge-to-edge optical clarity at extreme magnification and you want a proven performer for disciplines like Field Target or Benchrest. It is regarded as the stronger overall optical package. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
  • Choose the Minotaur if you are on a tighter budget but still want a feature-rich scope (like 1/8 MOA target turrets and a zero-stop) for backyard or casual range shooting where you aren't pushing the highest magnifications to their absolute

Thanks everyone but now sorted. Bought the Falcon T50i+ and set it up today and zeroed the rifle. Very impressed…1/8 MOA clicks, comes with throw lever, battery, flip covers sun shade…illuminated reticle is one of the best I have come across. Also..for those that prefer the Minotaur….Optics Warehouse selling it for under £300….bargain!
