hello,
Im thinking of buying one of these but im not sure

NEW REMINGTON 700 DBM TRIGGER GUARD / FLOORPLATE ACCEPTS ALL AICS AND AI MAGS | eBay

Im not sure if its a direct replacement fit has any one had any experience in fitting these floorplates to a rem 700 s/a bdl dm. If it is a straightforward remove and replace all is ok but if i need to start removing metal with a pillar so the aics mags fit the action when the floor plate is inleted into my stock im not sure im gona bother. Can any one help before i go ahead and purchase the stuff then find out its not gona work :oops:

cheers

Theirs quite a bit of work to get these suckers to fit and look good
i inlet then bed in place to make it look tidy you have to use the pillars provided or it won't set the height for round pick up

i have a bell and carlson a2 full alloy chassis stock, so would the pillars be needed....... how much would a smith charge to fit them.....
cheers mate

The pillars set the height to get mag to work properly as well as for bedding
if it is a alloy bedding block then the alloy needs machined to the right height wich takes more time than in a standard stock no pillars are not needed
prices depend I know some charge around 100 ish to inlet and bed Bottom metal
