super cheap long range fox caller!

need to change my ringtone
foxes round here are wise to the screaming Nokia rabbit!

what calls do people use?

try getting a set of 2 PMR radios from Maplins and transmit from one to the other.

or use a mp 3 player and radios with a VOX(voice operated transmission) to send it to more than one radio,

the good thing about this is you can have as many radios as you wish and send the sound you want to the one you want, etc etc.

easily done if you know how,

bob.

Ok Guys
From the sublime to the ridiculous.
I've been using the mobile phone method for a while with some decent results.
On the occasion when you see Mr Fox,but he's in the wrong place for a shot, how about this.
A small electric radio controlled car (silent), with a furry toy or rabbit skin on it, when Mr Fox appears in the wrong place, drive the (rabbit car)
to the correct place and there you go, the shot is on.
I did say ridiculous, but who is brave enough to say it didn't work

Happy rallying

Alan

Some phones also have a calender/alarm where you can assign ring tones or sounds you have imported in.

It is quiet feasible to set up a string of alarm calls over whatever time frame you want and it will not rely on a phone signal either.

Not as much control as the phone option but still potentially useful
