Pictures don't do the wood justice, Sako action, stock made by H&H , barrel etc regulated by H&H. Never done much paper punching with it although because of stock fit and excellent trigger it's a dream to shoot and is as accurate a sporting rifle you'd ever want.

I nearly went for 7x57 or 30-06, but at the time had the chance to shoot boar in France so went for the 270. The style of rifle would have suited a 7x57, I'm just a bit of a 7mil fan.
as said before on a previous post I took the scope of in sept this year for a couple of days at stags, the rifle handled fantasticaly without the scope , it was like using a shot gun [THEY WEREN'T RUNNING], if I have another go at driven boar with it I'll take the scope off
