  1. .223 on muntjac

Yes in 223, It seems like most men and there dog use 223 for a lot of hunting over here, was very weird coming from the uk to here and seeing how common the 223 is used for shooting fallow. I’ve always been a big fan of going for more stopping power but the 223 does its job on putting them down...
  2. .223 on muntjac

Sako 55gr soft point put fallow and reds down just fine if it’s put behind the front shoulder out to 150 yards, so will work fine for muntjac or cwd.
  3. 17 Remington ammunition

Try Lee at GunTec in Shobden, he got me in brass
  4. Having a play with long range which budget ish scope

Go second hand and keep a eye open for a nightforce or similar, I’ve 2x NXS 8-32x56, paid 600 for one 800 the other
  5. Moving to New Zealand and taking firearms

I have recent experience of this, feel free to drop me a pm. You can apply for a firearm certificate over here on a working holiday visa aslong as it’s 24 months or longer, You need to have 2 references what are in nz, provide relationship details for the last 5 years, Once you apply they...
  6. Tyre feedback

I always got on well with them, they didn’t let go like bfg at’s and road mileage was good for a mt
  7. Tyre feedback

I’ve run comforcer cf3000 for alot of years now, on work trucks, and my own personal one, I can’t fault them, they perform very well on the road, and incredibly well off road,
  8. Sold: 28bore browning

    Pm Sent.
  9. Can-am Outlander HD5

No bother, it will only turn them off from a stop or under 7mph or something daft, and you will need to do it every time you restart the bike, but once your in the routine you won’t even think about it.
  10. Can-am Outlander HD5

Don’t know for certain with the hd5/7 but the outlander 570,1000 you turn them off by holding the bottom of switch down for 5 seconds.
  11. Flying to NZ with a firearm and layovers

I don’t believe it’s as simple as that as then requires import / export, & gst for value of firearms, optics, etc and takes several months to complete
  12. 6x6 Quads/Utv's

I personally wouldn’t thankyou for a Argo, there noisy, uncomfortable, and unreliable. As for the trailer issue, I have previously loaded a 6x6 onto a p7 (7’) ifor and then just rachet strapped the tail board up, just got to remember the long overhang if on rough ground as it does hang up.
  13. 6x6 Quads/Utv's

I just ran that centre axle tyres slightly higher psi, made a fair difference to turn ability, Wouldn’t know about putting warn tyres on rear as if I had new boots it was a set, but I also ran track for a long time on them too, and again unreal where they will go, never seen or believed a...
  14. 6x6 Quads/Utv's

Used both can-am outlander 6x6 and the Polaris big boss 6x6, aswell as the can-am defender 6x6. I’ve had 3 outlanders through work, one of which I put 27,000 miles on in 2 years. I like the 6x6 find them a lot more useful than a 4 wheel bike, but if your expecting them to handle like a 4 wheel...
