Just got one of these new, comfy, relatively quite, stable to shoot from, heated grips are amazing, now the problem, you can't turn the lights off, fine for day and road use, but no good for driving round fields at night, thought I had it solved by taping over the lights and flicking beams on if I needed light, this has failed due to the amount of light coming from the back of the headlight which lights up the wheels, a bit like those purple lights chavs fix to the bottom of corsa's.
Anyone suggest a solution, an aftermarket switch that has an off position for example, Would rather not go down the unplugging or fuse removal route

Thanks will give that a try
No bother, it will only turn them off from a stop or under 7mph or something daft, and you will need to do it every time you restart the bike, but once your in the routine you won’t even think about it.
