    A few more while having a coffee: A fancy Wychwood at top with ivory handle so it was a while ago. Solway Stalkers for the man himself. Various stabilised maple handles. I'll try to post some knives I'll have at the show when they are done.

    It's Tufnol. A British fine-weave cotton/phenolic resin laminate. It starts out light tan coloured but darkens to brown with exposure to UV light.

    Prices vary a lot depending on finish, blade steel and handle materials. I'll have some "field grade" examples in standard 12c27 and AEB-L steel with brushed (machine applied satin) finished blades and standard handle materials for £280-350. Also some with the better RWL-34 with hand-rubbed...
