I think this is misinformation. They're still active on social media and building guns. I think they closed then re-opened shortly after with a new owner.

No, just standard steel (which I've fired a lot of through it). No doubt it would pass HP if re-proofed. A 28" barrel sidelock isn't really the tool for that sort of job though, in my opinion.
