I'm very reluctantly considering selling my Darne V21.

I desperately wanted one and managed to source this. However, after giving it a fair crack of the whip this season I just can't get on with it (yet I can with my cheap boxlock sxs...).

I'm very sad about it all, but I don't believe in having a gun for it never to be used gathering dust in the cabinet.

It's a truly beautiful thing for anyone who's interested.

15" lop

1/2 and 1/4 (had a gunsmith recheck, so steel proof, but I shoot bioammo through it)

Between 27.5" barrels

70mm chambers

Slight cosmetic nics on left barrel and back of stock (cabinet bump)

Past holts auctions have had them go well in excess of £3k (including buyers premium and scaled for inflation), therefore I'm asking for:

£2000

Would consider some kind of swap deal too (something like an AyA #1, or a best Edwinson Green)

Gloucestershire based, would consider RFD.

Any further questions (or wise words to talk me out of it!) please ask.

@bulric - Have you tried taking it to a decent gunsmith, to see in what ways it is a poor fit and what could be done to improve the fit?

It would need bending apparently, which would be risky due to grain of the wood. Such a shame!
Not sure where you are, but if you can visit Tim Greenwood, he can make the stock fit you, whatever the change required. He's a wizard with wood. Beautiful Darne btw
