I purchased a sweat top and magazine from mdt when I was in the UK...MDT did their bit perfectly fine, UPS however wanted to know the ins and outs of a maggots arsehole! I mean they wanted to know and have a declaration that the sweat top was not a Firearm component!?!?!?! Ever heard of anyone...

Sound thinking from you on this. Ball head weight is key and get as thick a leg as possible for reducing wobble. The inverted legs are a great idea for quick adjustment 👌🏻

Take a look at Anarchy Outdoors in the US mate, they ship to UK no problem. Otherwise I've used threaded inserts screwed & glued and then used bolts to go through arca rail. Leaves a nice decent finish too 👌🏻 This may start you off... Threaded Inserts

If you're going the tape route the MOD Scapa tape is very good, can be painted on if need be and I've never had any residue left when removing.

Had both and sold the GRS for another MDT. Don't get me wrong the GRS is a lovely chassis but I couldn't get on with the angle of the grip. Excellent tool less adjustment on some models. Id be inclined to have a look at a LSS Gen 3 for customising options.

Yep I stand corrected bud, good mounts and I wish Sportsmatch would update their mounts with a picatinny ring top option for lads who want to run external IR

I'd be surprised if you like the accutac bipod due to its legs adjustment method but then you may like it...the atlas BT CAL bipod is my chosen bit of kit, well worth a look if you haven't already shelled out. Or perhaps the UTG Over Bore Bipod would be worth a look also
