Yes, that irony was not lost on me! It actually made me think twice about asking the question, but I was curious to know if other had experienced it.

My area have generally been pretty sensible and sound in my experience. The FEO for my patch is excellent.

So this seemed like a new approach, especially as the photo is 10 years old they had opportunity to object to it before, but didnt.

My profile pic is of me on a sim day. My profile is otherwise private, my personal details aren’t available - but no doubt through data breaches, records etc. a person with intent could find my address.

I can see that the police would ideally member have anyone mention that they have guns, use guns, or otherwise, however we have to ensure that whilst giving reasonable security precautions the use of guns for sport, work, and recreation is to some degree normalised.

I will not be removing a photo I like, enjoying the lifestyle I like, out of the fear of what if’s.

You could solve this overnight by having everyone with an FAC an SGC or even an air gun posting a single photo on their social media page.
Or you can just suck it up…

Years ago we were assured dsc would be used for grant of fac guess who by ? That’s right your favourite org despite there being ZERO mention of it in HO guideline

Yeah. but what I do is for the bait company, i’m also very good friends with the owners of the company, so I get a very good deal in return so it swings roundabouts for that.

Also, what I do, do is very minimal

Its not the animal rights loonies that you need to bother about but neutral members of the general public who've been bombarded with leftie BBC/Packham propaganda. My conversations with the public happen because they're genuinely interested and at no time do I feel the need to justify what I do.
