    Have I?

I agree with what you said. If i can sell any of the litter to someone who would be keen to train the dog from a year old in field and trial it would be a bonus, other those in the country. I didn't come on here for people to offend, condescend, make assumptions, lecture etc I goggled something...

Jez, you come on this 'welcome' thread and have done nothing but waste your time insulting me with assumptions, condescending comments... you seemed to be the one with infinite wisdom, about me. Yor arguing your assumptions but on your assumptions, if the pedigree is not full of FT CH and...

It is a shame about the Nantcarrow lines ending really. Danderw Druid has been used alot. Appears alot in cockers pedigree. I guess being a Cocker Championship winner can be very financially rewarding for the owner if putting him out to stud lol. If there is a danger of that becoming...

Goes without saying. They have the same breed lines anyway so depends which is more responsive to training and commands.

Dunno why but had a feeling he (Danderw Druid) may have been. Out of interest what is the sire and dam of your cocker spaniel? Thank you for wishing good luck. I'm picking my little Saffron up on Sunday. She's been with the stud dog owner the past week. Will be getting her FN and prcd-PRA DNA...

Bomag... and yes I had an update two post below this post of yours which updated my situation. Not so much the vet finding now although a couple more recommendations would be appreciated. I 'was' stuck with the gamekeeper/landowner/shotgun part for the vet form to carry out the procedure...

    :) (shakes head)

You have mixed up more than once in this line 'good lines' and a 'good dog'. I mentioned improving the lines. A good dog would depending on the training of the actually owner (that being the new owner of the puppy). Is that what you are saying because that goes without saying. Hence aiming to...

Bomag... you digress and condescend also. It seems to be a common thing on forums with some people. No offense intended back in return. I'm afraid good lines do indeed make good cocker spaniels. Good trainers of working dogs don't necessarily make the lines better. The Dam has not worked. The...

Hi, tried them. They don't accept membership anymore and will not pass on the information either according to their website. Due to the regulation now I believe.
  13. Working Cocker Spaniel owner

Nick... I actually agree with the law. Just in my situation I've found it terribly difficult and unfair. Especially when I travelled 3.5 hrs away for my Dam and now 2.5 hrs away for the stud dog that is costing me £370. It's clear I am breeding her not for profit but for improving the lines...

Jez, thank you for being condescending.
  15. Working Cocker Spaniel owner

Of course it doesn't. I totally agree with you Jez. But it's the potential environment, and we digress.
