Well having been out time and time again on my permission over the last two years and having seen tons of roe and just never having lady luck with me..
Last night I got my first deer..
And like the old saying "you wait ages for one bus and then two come along at once..
My second buck not more...
Once had a friend who had a scuffle with an intruder and a officer said the best advice he could give if it ever happened again was to drag them to the bottom of the stairs.. that way your only way to safety is through them..
Hi all
Just after a little advice in regards trousers. I currently have a pair of percussion imperlight trousers which are great for walking round the farm permissions for the roe out in the fields but when I head up to scotland and set of up the hills after a big red there pulling too tight...
They are but for some reason the weatherbys feel to me anyway just little bit better finish.
And let's be honest who doesn't love a spiral fluted barrel with tungsten cerakote..😁
I'll throw in the ring a weatherby vanguard meateater 300 win mag..
Basically a hower but my vanguard seems like they have a higher finish.. bout 1200.. and there a dam sexy rifle
All I'm getting at is that if munty was his sole quarry then people could say right then a 222 or 223 in there opinion is plenty for that particular job which could potentially be lighter, cheaper, less recoil etc..where if he has going for reds then that would eliminate the above said calibers...
If that's true why not use a 460 Weatherby magnum or a 50cal..you ain't gonna get much deader if one of those hits it...
You don't put a screw in with a sledge hammer do you.. you use the right tool for the job..
I know it's not 12v but I have one of the Makita 18v cordless air compressors works quickly and is absolutely brilliant.. portable pumps to decent pressures pretty quicky..
Even use mine for air testing heating systems..
Right before this goes of on some kind of tangent... I'll set the record straight and say I'm not going to buy one.. I'm a yorkshire man hence tight with the money..🤣
But I have seen a couple of hunting videos from America where they have used them so was just curious in anyone over hear had...
Afternoon all..
Just wondering if anyone has come across the plastic butt out tools or if anyone has used one and your thoughts...hunters butt out - Google Search
Evening all..
Just wondering if any one you out there had used the edgar brothers optimate scopes was looking at one over the weekend at the yorkshire shooting show seemed a nice scope at a decent price..
What are your thoughts...
