Signed, and I do wish people would stop berating another country sport, this attitude does more to damage ALL field sports than the damn antis ever could.
If was going to change from my .25-06, which I'm not, it would be the .257 weatherby, both chamberings really shine when you reload for them, I appreciate not everyone wants to reload, but if you do, a .25-06 is a superb deer cartridge.
Welcome, from just on the border (south Yorkshire) with the lack of rabbits round my way, this is the first time I have been without Ferrets for a long time, hope things improve in the future, I do miss my Ferrets.
You should not have any great problems with .222 ammo in the future I think, obvious question, have you considered reloading? It's a great chambering to load for.
