After much thought, I have decided the time has come to sell my defender, various commitments will shortly see me needing a vehicle more suited to long journey's. I will try to keep the description as short as possible, so a PM with a number would be best, ok, 1990 200tdi, rebuilt in 2020 on a brand new Richards galvanised chassis, which was wax filled at the time and externally treated, the engine, gearbox and diffs were all reconditioned, it has covered approximately 15,000 miles since and has been religiously serviced by me (I used to be a Landy mechanic) oil and filter change every 5,000 miles, and I have just serviced again, it has 12months Mot and flew through with no advisories. It benefits from a private reg, which will be included in the sale, keyless entry c/l, heated screen, and a sophisticated alarm/immobiliser system which will be discussed with the new owner, nothing was left to chance, all the brakes, prop shafts and ancillaries including the turbo were brand new, it has a winch and snorkel and other than a grass field or two and farm tracks, it has never been off road, the interior is nice with Mazda rx8 leather seats, and a pioneer music system (yes you can hear it) it's on Michelins which are perhaps half worn, a spare wheel with a brand new general grabber also comes with it, I have winter prepped it every year with lanoguard and xcp rust blocker, it drives as it should and goes like a train, I could go on and on, I have advertised it on SD initially before doing so elsewhere, as I really do want a minimum of callers viewing it, for obvious reasons, there is a set of led Spotlight's which I haven't got round to fitting yet to replace the halogen ones, which I will also include in the sale, this really is a superb defender and the first to see will buy, £12,500 drives it away, any more questions please PM me and I will happily answer them, thanks for looking, Hornet.
