  3. Nightforce NXS1556NP1 3.5-15-56 Vs Zeiss conquest V4 4-16x44

Depends what you want from the scope. If doing some long range work. The nf will have better turrets. More moa. And probably better built. I've always, found zeiss glass better. Not sure on the conquests. But the zeiss victorys etc definitely have better glass then nf. The 60 dot ret on the...
  4. ppu 22/250 ammunition

I found it abit hit and miss in my 22,250 decent in 222. All depends on the rifle. Give it a go. If it shoot well enough win win. Situation
  5. 22/250 ammunition for vermin control

Alot of cost in the long run. Running it for vermin all the time. What sort of ranges are you shooting out to ? With the 22/250. As you dont reload. I would get a cheap secondhand hmr. Of course depending on the distances you need to shoot out to. or get into reloading. The outlay will...
  6. Which .223 for foxing?

I see you got your heart set on that exact model. Just keep checking sales. Guntrader. Etc good luck🙂
  7. Left Handed Options?

There is many right bolt but ambidextrous stock rifles. You could still shoot fine lefthanded. I'm lefthanded and have always found that wasn't a problem
  8. Which .223 for foxing?

Chances are you could pick up a nice sako 75 with scope etc for that price If you look in the right places. The older Tilka m595 also lovely. Even more so if you find a nice stainless laminate one. Not seen many of those for sale though.
  9. 17 hornet or 17hmr

If you want if for foxes well out also. Definitely get the Hornet. Pays to have that bit more poke and stopping power
  10. 22.250 VS 223

22,250 is my favourite calibre. Don't be worried about using more powder if you reload. 223 of course uses less powder, but It's not like your going range shooting with it. 50 grain blizking or nostlers was mustard on foxes. Mine was a 1 in 12 twist 24 inch barrel. Was spitting out the...
  11. Which .223 for foxing?

I would get a second hand one. Loads about save some money for other things
  12. 17 Hornet to 17 Fireball

You would be better off finding one of the older small sako or anshutz actions. Having that in 17 fireball. They will feed the rounds also
  13. Foxing set up

If i was going for another 22/250 i would want a 24 inch barrel again. To get the best out of it. In real terms performance. And ranges you will likely shoot out to when lamping etc. Does the 24 inch barrel have any real advantages probably not. Also look at most of the shooting you do. On...
  14. Best 22LR Sound Moderator

i liked the carbon swift precision one. light well built and offered good performance. you wont notice that much difference in a lot of them with sub ammo anyway.
  15. Rifle customiser/gun smith in the Cotswolds?

depending how far you want to travel really, most good smiths will be more then able to bed a stock tune a trigger etc. and most now offer coating and fluting etc. you got Steve bowers in Gloucester.
