My 300 win mag was still pretty accurate with the sound mod taken off , took it to South Africa without the sound mod- no issues- zeroed inch high at 100 yds.
all good , have one on my tikka t3 in 308. No issues-
Did split my eyebrow with older Hik model 50 as lost scope rubber and got to close to it when zeroing a few different rifles.
Not ballistic tips but 123g Sako Gamehead in 30-06 seem to work well, would not recommend if you like shooting into heavy cover though.
Not got a .223 though.
Meg- leggy pure white Terrier . Paid £60 for her at 9 months old- probably 20 yrs ago. Cracking bitch- 100 % on a mark- would bolt a fox, could call her out at any time- great with the ferret and would retrieve shot game. Best day ratting was over 250 rats. She went diabetic around 8 yrs old...
Definitely bigger the trailer the easier it is- single axel light weight small trailers are impossible to reverse, especially when you can even see them in the wing mirrors.
I had a 300 Winmag for a few years- ( Mauser M12 Extreme)really liked the rifle and calibre. Very accurate. Sold it as also have a 30-06 and a 308 and I was not using it as much.
Hi
Been talking to someone this weekend, who is stating that at the stalking show last week there were thumb hold stocks manufactured by Sako for the Sako 85.
I can’t see anything on line. Has anyone else knowledge of sako Manufacturing thumbhold stocks for the 85 models?
Cheers
Jon
