I've used these they work fine just a little awkward to put on with my large hands stretch them on and just be carfull not to scratch your tube but they work fine

Yes that's what I'm thinking of doing Im OK with the bolt being on the wrong side! But would want something that's got a stock that'll be OK with both left and right hand use plus interested in how the howa preforms
