I've used optiloc with glass scopes since 2006, but suffice to say, a recent set has let me down. To be fair, eye relief wasn't a problem. Have you tried direct to rifle tikka mounts with an alpex? Which make/model did you have issues with? Would be handy to cross them off the list.
