I’ve seen it said regularly that the 75 was the best sako built. Can anyone explain why and what then went downhill with the 85 etc
I’ve owned an 85 and whilst I liked it I had some problems when putting all 5 rounds in the mag and bolt cycling.
That’s lovely. Not a fan of the chassis either but in a pse that’s gonna be special. Which model did you choose? Dont think you will regret the Swarovski either.
I think they would take some beating for just occasional use and zeroing. I would always go for a tilting version though so you can keep your rifle straight on uneven ground.
Thankyou yes they do still sell some supplies. Did buy one of there tanning kits but it’s dramatically overpriced for what you get. Haven't used it yet.
I haven’t really tallied it up but I would say somewhere around £70-£80 for the parts. the annoying thing is the import duty etc on the form and glass eyes etc.
Tan came from America as it’s a brush on tan from mckenzies. I may experiment with other options to try and avoid that cost.

Perfect fit and gives a good amount of overhang infront of the lrf glass. Material has some flex in it which I can imagine will deflect any knocks very well. Many thanks 👍
