I've made a couple of small tweaks to design today. I've received black material. I'm just waiting for the OP to test the prototype out before can put them into production.

I expect that I'll be ready to post a few out on Monday.

Perfect fit and gives a good amount of overhang infront of the lrf glass. Material has some flex in it which I can imagine will deflect any knocks very well. Many thanks

I think cutting existing eyecup shorter would probably be simpler, or finding an existing product.
