    It was stated in the first page I think, but really it is dictated, for me, by the circumstances of the stalk. Obviusly, as little as possible....( Apart from rifle, pull through, sticks, ammo, thermal, phone, kinfe as the bare minimum) I have pretty much everything mentioned in all these thread...

    Although fairly new to the business, my limited experience so far ( I have a HikMicro 4K as well as decent glass) has meant that I prefer using the glass, but of course, there are limits to when you can. I have invested in QD mounts with return to zero capability and when I go out will take both...

    So I have several knives with leather sheath's that dont easily fit onto the belts I use.....I saw someone using what looked like a carabiner to bridge the belt loop on their trousers and teh leather sheath...bingo, great idea I thought....so I ordered a couple of carabiners from Amazon...

    I was a bit hasty in buying these, as the intended rifle actually turned out to have a weaver rail installed, so I need Weaver spec rings instead. I have only unboxed them and put them on my scope. Not been used or mounted on the rifle at all. They are around a month old......I paid around £240...
