  1. Theoretical Perfect Stalking Road Trip?

    > Targets Fallow Muntjac and CWD Scotland has limited appeal for these species. CWD and Muntjac are both escapees from the Woburn estate which is 40-50 miles north of London. As such, their distribution has spread from there. For muntjac this means much of England south of the Humber...
  2. Price of ammo now 🫣

Where? That is quite a bit cheaper than the last time I bought it...
  3. Sold: Waidwerk Tracking Training Overshoes

    Received. Many thanks
  4. digital larder scales

I use these. Looks like it might be the same far eastern design landig label above? https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B0CQFTR6M9?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title
  5. Anyone using Helikon Clothing?

I have woodsman/pilgrim trousers and jackets. Very robust, comfortable and practical. Excellent value. Not waterproof but dries very fast and the fabric mix can be a bit sweaty in warm weather.
  6. Sold: Waidwerk Tracking Training Overshoes

I'd like to take these please
  7. BA13 TAKEDOWN 243

Is it small but not as light as you might expect. Compare the weight to a bolt action with a short barrel if you are aiming for a light rifle. It works well but you probably aren't going to win any benchrest competitions with it, probably due to the trigger. Good enough for roe at 150m though...
  8. Sold: Swedteam Forest set XL

What height/inside leg do you think the trousers would fit?
  9. Scotch Eggs

Take a look at Stokes brown sauce? I am no aficionado so can't comment on quality but other Stokes products are tasty. https://www.stokessauces.co.uk/shop/ketchup-sauces/real-brown-sauce/
  10. Who makes the best mince pie? ..... vote

Decent mincemeat needs: Suet Booze Nuts All of which are expensive and contravene one or more dietary requirements. There no mass-produced mince pie (or mincemeat, for that matter ) that is worth eating as a result. Homemade mincemeat or don't bother at all IMO.
  11. Herts Police variations

I did a one for one with Cambs (firearms administered centrally with Beds and Herts) in October and they called me after about three weeks. I haven't yet had my new cert but it has been less than two weeks since the call.
  12. Children’s Binos

These look great. My seven year old will be getting some of these for Christmas. I had a look around earlier in the year and these seemed to be the best thing on offer. Also, vortex warranty is compelling in this situation- if they get broken, vortex fix them.
  13. Quad sticks for tall people

I am 186cm tall. I use my viperflex two stops down from the max length and my shooting position is more upright than many others. I suspect you would be fine with my sticks (and if you are anywhere near Cambs you are welcome to try). The sticks I have were the standard non-takedown, aluminium...
  14. Wildtrack Pro Deer Management Group

I have been a member since last spring and have enjoyed it. There is a range of land across the north and east of England which is greater now than when I joined. It is real, there is no catch and I have had access to much more stalking than I would have done without them, all for a similar...
  15. Merguez

Where do you buy this? Online purchase or does one of the supermarkets stock it?
