  1. Life Jacket inflator ID

Can anyone ID this PFD automatic inflator. It’s a Halkey Robert’s looking at the logo, but I can’t find a similar one online to buy a service /rearm kit.
  2. Finally bade goodbye🫣

Suns out here, I’ve got the climate changer out…
  3. Any stories of longevity or extreme pushing to the limits of items in life

My grandfather passed away before I was born in 83, but I have his lotus veldtschoen boots. No idea what age they are, but my dad remembers him wearing them when he was a young man. I had them resolved and wear them on shoot days.
  4. One for the sheep men

#5 at lower dose, plus a separate jab of glucose.
  5. One for the sheep men

I didn’t, as she was in bad way for a few days. I was jabbing her with calcium and glucose. Wasn’t sure she would survive.
  6. For Sale: Yeti Coolers, Drinkware, Storage, etc

  7. One for the sheep men

Cheers. The ewe was a bit toxaemic and didnt come to milk, so all the lambs are in a shepherdess. I’ve left them in with her, and she is coming to milk now, so if she carries on, I’ll split her and two lambs and leave two as cades.
  8. One for the sheep men

Feck, they aren’t disappearing from here. We started lambing in early January, despite tups not going in until mid September….precocious bloody tup lamb. I’ve also had a ewe spit out live quads.
  9. Robert Duvall passes.

  10. Fly Tying Starter

Just a little bump again for those who set me off on this. Latest endeavour, Davie McPhail’s marabou tailed Alexandra. Size 6 long shank hook, getting ready for reservoirs.
  11. OEX Vertex 130 Roof Tent

Cheers, I’m 6ft so should be fine. Footprint wise it’s the same as my OEX bandicoot 2, but as the sides are more vertical on the roof tent it should feel a bit more roomy. I’ve just checked and this year the bell tent is £450!
  12. OEX Vertex 130 Roof Tent

I am considering getting one of these and the associated awning for a festival stay in the summer. Last year, we hired a bell tent on site, and the cost would cover more than half the roof tent price. After the festival, I could use the tent minus the awning for overnight fishing trips. The OEX...
  13. Elf on shelf!

No kids here so Christmas usually involves a bit of visiting family and a good rest at home with the dogs. We have a family shoot in between Christmas and new year which is a welcome break from the eating at drinking. I have finally found an advent calendar I’m interested in though.
  14. What is this?

It looks too random for a Pave track, they are more like a cobbled road. That looks more like a random bump test track to me. Odd on a military base though, unless they trained gunners to hold a steady aim in rough terrain? Or tested vehicles for durability?
  15. Audio book series / collection recommendations

John-Lewis Stemple narrates his own books. The Fox, and The Wood are both excellent reads/listens.
