got a munti this morning , a doe probably 18month /2 . She was slightly milky but otherwise ok. On dressing her out there was a growth on both sides behind the kidneys attached to the inner loin, They were like hard grissel with white grey flecks in them. Any body any ideas and would you bin the carcass? Thenks in advance.
 
ive shot 300ish over 15 years and never seen this, not fat, this is like hard tough grissel and separate to the kidneys

Thread 'Crystallised deposit on kidneys (muntjac)'

I’ve now shot two muntjac does on the same piece of ground with crystallised deposits on kidneys. Tonight’s was only grape sized lumps on one kidney but the last one was the same size as the kidneys on both. No other signs of disease or ill health.

Nothing seems to be mentioned in my DSC1 material or other stalking books.

Any ideas what it is and how to deal with the carcass and organs?
