Pulsar Thermion XP50 Internal Battery Problem

Hi all,

After some help for a friend of mine who has a Thermion XP50. The internal battery refuses to charge and does not even show up on the screen. The scope turns on only with the external battery. He has tried to hard reset it by pressing the on/off button for 30 seconds when off, but no luck. Has anyone else experienced this issues. Is there anything he can do for o fire it up again. Sending it to Pulsar would not be an option for him as the process would be far fetched.
Thank you for your help in advance.

Quite often have this issue with the external battery - but not had it with the internal one before

Had this problem with a XQ 50, went back for repair, apparently battery moved in housing, possibly scope/rifle got a bang.

Had this with mine, make sure charger and charge cable are good quality, mine would not charge with cheaper cable.
leave it to charge for at least 24 hrs. Once internal battery was fully discharged it took ages for it to charge up again, took a couple of hours before the green light would come on.

Try this remove external battery, only use the wall adapter supplied with the unit, some adapters are not up to the job, to low a voltage apparently, once charger is on, make sure unit is switched off, not just screen shut down.
Most charging problems I have seen are caused by cheap wall chargers.

Mine did this also hold the power button down for 30seconds this should re-set the unit if this does not work give Tomas jacks a ring they are very helpfull on the phone and they will go through a number of things before you send it away as it took so long to repair it became a joke

Thanks guys. Shall ask him to try it all again and see where we go with it. Will keep you posted.
