Sale and new site ownership.

Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,

We are now at a point of completing the sale of the Stalking Directory web/forum.

First of all, I would like to thank all of you for your continued support of the site over the years. I have met some wonderful people and made some good friends through this site. I would also like to thank all those who I have guided on all the species in the UK and some of you abroad. Its greatly appreciated.

As for myself, I intend to stay a member of the site, which no doubt my colleague Alex will also. I will still carry on deer stalking but not with paying clients, but have reduced my interests whilst I attend to my wifes fight against cancer.

The new owner is a site member, and an enthusiastic deer stalker. We have been careful in dealing with the sale, in as much that we wanted someone who will care for the site, and furthermore would keep it in the spirit we have run it in since buying it about 18 years ago. I am pleased to announce that we have chosen the correct person.

The new owner will make an introduction to you all in the very near future.

TRADE MEMBERS.
Please note that there will be a change of bank details. You will be informed by the new owner shortly.

That's about it from me. Both myself and Alex will be around to help in anyway we can to ensure a smooth transition for the new owner.

My best wishes to you all, and once again my grateful thanks to you all.

Sikamalc.
Only been a member for a short while but you and your partner have done a fantastic job and an amazing legacy. Wish your wife all the best in her journey, positive thoughts all the way and strength to you

All the best for the future Malcom and Alex , this site has been a lot of help to all on the site and opportunities for new stalkers , Thankyou 👌

Thank you!
Support from you and your colleagues, both on screen and behind the scenes, has been fantastic over the years since I first joined this site as a complete novice with no knowledge or experience of deer.
I am sure I am not alone in having benefitted immensely from my participation in the SD.
Long may the site continue to be a launching pad for beginners, under its new ownership.

Best wishes for the future.

Hmmm.
As a relative newcomer to the site I been made to laugh out loud and on occasion even shed a tear or two (bloody dogs!); ranted and occasionally raved about not much at all and I have even bought and sold a few items - always on trust and never let down by any member. I have attracted one or two marginally adverse comments (moi?) and conversely made some great friends - though I have yet to actually meet them face-to-face (invariably their decision - in truth who could blame them?). Through the generosity of the SD members I have even been able to arrange some stalking for Chrissakes! Who could ask for more?
All of this is down to the efforts of you guys, without you this site would not have existed nor gone from strength to strength. I wish you all good health and the very best for the future and I thank you very much for all your hard work.

Thanks for all your hard work Malcolm and the experience of stalking with you, albeit briefly.
You have created and managed an excellent and valuable website, best wishes to you and your family for a healthier future.

Malc, my thanks too to you and your Team for making this site the resource and friendly place it is. I have benefitted greatly from the knowledge, wisdom and advice given here, and that it has in my time run so smoothly is totally down to your stewardship and firm direction.

As a 2 times cancer sufferer now missus several body organs but thankfully in remission, I know exactly where you are coming from and the stress, worry and uncertainty it brings. I wish you both the very best for the future, and hope things work out well.

All the best
Brilliant site you guys created

Thoughts with you and your good lady
If you ever want to have a shot somewhere different drop me a line - we have a few Roe and a few pheasants and ducks about - obviously no cost other than maybe a hotel as the sofa has 4 mad spaniels on it most of the time !

Malc you John and Alex have done a tremendous job in running this site for the last 18 years. I think you got the balance just about spot on right from the start and kept it right all the way through. You've certainly provided all of us with plenty of enjoyment, education and wit, plus you've facilitated introductions to many good friendships.
All the very best.

P.S. I just realised that I must have joined the site shortly after you started. Where has the time gone?
