Hi, looking for some advice. Just bought a Tikka Ace in 6.5 and bought some Amax 120 and 123 bullets. Only ever used Lapua 139 in my RPR but fancied trying a different weight to see if much difference in accuracy, as targets shooters tend to do, always chasing the V bull :(
Unfortunately I did not realise that the Vit app does not show the Amax now so cannot get a starting load.
I have N140 and N160.
Dob't want to buy another powder as once used will either stick with the Lapuas or the newer ELD match.
Was going to try using the data for Lapua Scenars but they dont list either of my powders.
They do list loads for the Sierra HPBT at these weights.

Some thoughts would be appreciated.

Thanks, that was the plan, however different manufacturers have vastly different starting loads for the same weight bullet. My assumption and I hope someone can advise is that Scenars, Matchingkings, ELD and Max are all very similar to allow the load data assumptions
 
Viht list both 120 grain and 123 grain ELDs , use that data . The same rules apply to all data , start low and work up.

I'm Scottish, don't do paid options if I can avoid 😁😁. Used the data for ELD match. Started with lowest load and worked up below max. Once at range will just see if any signs of pressure from lowest loads. Really strange but Vit shows a 5g difference between the starting loads on the 120 to the 123. Cannot see how a 3g projectile can be that much different.
