I’m looking to get myself a really good box made out of metal or plastic for the front of my quad for work/ lamping , just something that has a lot of storage and that I can shoot off the top of it and mount some gun holders to it, something like the pic below, does anyone know where I can buy a good one because I’m struggling to find anything decent online.
Cheers
Jp

What make and model of quad do you have?
I could do with the same, I currently have a box on the rear and rifle mounts on the front but it gives nothing decent to rest on and no rifle enclosed storage.

Due to the nature of the hill ground I work on I prefer mesh box on the front to a solid box , at least that way I see the hole that I'm dropping in to.
I found the same, I went to the expense of an aluminium chequer box on the front but soon found it dangerous when riding in certain terrain, I had it refitted to the rear rack instead. When riding it on relatively flats fields or on tracks it was okay.

It’s a 25 plate canam 750, not too sure what the exact model is right now I’m just doing the same and strapping my rifle too the front and my auto in a set of mounts above it but think a box would be a lot better

Boxes for the back IMHO. I prefer the open style carrier for the front and the dogs ride in that and can bail quickly if I do inadvertently find that bomb hole in the grass. Moved away from fixed rifle rests to use a Dead Rest which not only carries the rifle but provides a stable shooting rest. Modified mine to use the Spartan adapter at the front so there’s only one strap to quickly remove the rifle from the rest.

Last picture shows the mount on the late @Alantoo ‘s CanAm quad.

Old fish crate, which I found dumped, rail on the front is for hanging rabbits

Plywood lid was added, 2" foam pad glued on and an old flexothane jacket stapled on top, the wood strengthens the top when the straps are tightened

Not the usual rifle I have on there, but I just bedded it and it was handy for pics, the bungy keeps everything secure (and if you're on the ground I think you are, you'll need that rather than the Y shaped holders), the rest is a pillow, fortunatly my wife in handy with a sewing machine, the offcut of drainage pipe on the left is a cup holder ;)

Originally made for a honda, it looks a little small on the can-am, but its the perfect height for me the shoot from and with my left hand supporting the butt on the handle bar extremely stable

I like a box on the back but I normally have a terrier box on the back, but ur set up looks mint 👍

I made this from old floor boards. I made some brackets out of a straight piece of estate fence post, drilled holes to attach the bolts. I was going to attach a lid but havnt really seen the need. I know it looks basic, but the benefit of wood is its infinitely customisable. Ive added a slot for the second 12v battery, holes to attach the LED strip and a pipe bracket to hold the dead mans handle for the flail mower.

I just had a box fabricated for my truck, it was easier but more expensive. Hard to find a product that fits all the criteria off the shelf

Plasterers bath maybe… come in different sizes, useful kit I use one as a deer drag and it fits perfectly sideways in the Defender.
