Stick holder for a quad

Just wondering if anyone had figured out a good way to carry sticks on a quad bike. I'm thinking some kind of tube mounted in the foot buckets. Alternatively I could keep it simple and lay them from the front rack to the back I suppose.

You can get a tube to fit a quad for exactly that purpose. Just search for shepherds' crook holder when looking at quad accessories. Lot's of farm quads are fitted with them.

I just have a short bungee on the front rack that loops over one end and the other tucks under a corner of the rear box. Sticks sit alongside me front to back. It means you can only really get on from one side of the bike but it works for me and they don't rattle around. You could use a bungee front and back if you've not got any accessories etc.

Can't find one on Google. Seen a few for old Kawasakis on historic auction pages!

I did think an extra set of gun holders but they are reasonably big and would still have to mount them front/back

I just put my sticks in the foot bucket , pointing forwards and hold them there with my knee. Rifles on my back ( unloaded). I use a rum sling and the rifle just sits there

It goes between the front box and shooting rest in a Ogdens quadlite rifle slip. I like it covered as much of my ground is very public (as you know!).
Totally 😄 All of those pictures of the quad with the rifle exposed on mine are on no-public access MOD training ranges 🤗 I don't envy the "public-facing" nature of your ground whatsoever!

Lot of hill keepers doing that now, moving the box forward and having an aim bag or similar fitted between the box and bars, times are changing

I have the kolpin ratcheting tool holders, they have a rubber grip which hold the sticks nicely. Here is a picture of them holding the Blaser sticks, they have no effect on riding the quad whatsoever, and the u shaped grip can be removed easily just leaving base plate if you need to remove them for doing other jobs like mounting a sprayer etc..
