Keyhole CABG

With very little warning it appears I’m in need of heart bypass surgery. In the very fortunate position that this has been found prior to any emergency situation arising.

I’m having a single bypass with additional stents, the bypass being done with keyhole surgery, rather than the usual open heart surgery.

Has anyone had the above, if so how long was recovery? How long before full physical activity can resume?

Be glad you did not have to join the zipper club!
I was not lucky enough to have it by keyhole, but one thing I learnt was if you need to know an answer to a question... contact the British Heart Foundation or the cardiac rehab nurse in your area... both very good with information and answers.
