Clothing recommendations

Hi all,

My daughter (15) is getting into stalking and comes out with me quite often. I’m looking to get her some decent starter clothing but don’t really want to spend big money on brands like Harkila just yet.

What would you recommend as good, affordable starter gear for her?

Thanks in advance 👍

Militar surplus cheap and effective without breaking the bank. Print she is outdoorsy in feral Fjalraven stuff is dual purpose
Typed that in a rush, military surplus or Fjalraven if she can get the dual use from Fjalraven.

TK max is also worth a rake for some cheap stuff whilst she is still growing.

I have no idea what clothes to recommend for a 15 year old girl. And I suspect neither does anyone over the age of about 17.

All I could say is that you should give her parameters, such as waterproofness, robustness, breathability and price, then let her loose on the usual websites. Because whether it's Harkila or a 1970s second hand German army jacket, if it's bought for her by her father, she will not be seen dead in it.

Depending on time of year may just be able to wear normal clothes in muted colours.

As someone who was a 15 year old girl looking for stalking clothing not all that long ago. The answer is, it's really difficult.
I've found Fortis to be good quality, but they are definitely up there in price. Some of the seeland clothing (both kids range and ladies range) have done me well. If you're looking for more general "outdoor clothing" rather than stalking specifically then places like decathlon or go outdoors stores are a good starting place. I hope this helps

Depending on her size and build have a look at the Ridgeline Spiker jacket and trousers, they've served my boy well for a couple of years, beating and sat up a highseat with some thermals underneath. He's had seeland and percussion garments too but they seem to run small. I think Deerhunter do a youth range aswell.

My daughter went for Ridgeline (because all the young farmers wear it) which are good value for waterproof and can be found cheap on Vinted. For trousers New Forest's "percussion kids traditional trousers" for £24.95 are superb.
