I bought my first Svemko February 1st 2018, a Hunter 1.0 Standard with a .30 insert. Comparing it in .308 Win and 6.5x55 with an A-Tec, two different Stalon models and my own old Ase Utra SL5i, it was incredibly easy to decide which was the superior suppressor.
I later bought an identical one but in a different thread so all my rifles could use identical suppressors. I have used these two extensively, both on the range and when hunting. Never had any issues. I bought a .224 sized insert for my .223 Rem but felt the price vs performance wasn't what I wanted so I later sold it - the .223 is easily suppressed and a .30 insert will do just fine, especially with the volume you get with a 1.0 Standard.
I have used these suppressors for my rifles in .223 Remington up to 9.3x62 and they work exceedingly well for all of them, with excellent first shot suppression and reducing the recoil of the 9.3x62 to something you can happily play around with on the range without tiring too quickly.
One backside, which is true for literally all suppressors, is that efficiency has a price. That price is that the sound energy gets converted to heat. Being titanium, they quickly heat up but also quickly cool down. I have a suppressor cover from ColeTac that limits the heat dissipation for range sessions and long range shooting, but I seldom use it these days.
A good friend bought the Nano model for his 9.3x57 Mauser and it is absolutely brilliant for its diminutive size and very low weight.
If I was going to buy a new suppressor only for target shooting today I would consider the Danish Lyddaempersyndikatet offerings. They produce some really nice suppressors with integrated muzzle brakes, more focused on recoil reduction than sound reduction.
We got two magnum 1.0 from Ed and gave them a go last week.
We shot a group of 3 muntjac with 2 fallow grazing at 35yards distance and nothing moved when they dropped one after the other. The fallow stayed in the field for 20 minutes after almost tripping over the munjac lying there.
Sammie had a shot go awol in a woodland, which must have clipped a branch or something when shooting at a muntie 45 yards out. The muntjac didn't move, had no idea somebody had taken a shot and kept grazing head down. Did not get far...
Guides we were out with also said they found the mods remarkably quiet. So so far very pleased with our purchase, now we'll have to see how they hold up.
