Any good mince recipes?

A friend has given me two packs ~500g of venison mince.

I've used the first for a shepherds pie but wonder if there are any suggestions for the other one apart from wait till its BBQ season and make burgers :)

Venison chilli is good, we do it often. You don’t need to wait for bbq weather for the burgers though, get them smashed down in beef dripping - no fancy recipe needed just salt and pepper in the mix.

Aboslutely love chilli made with venison, for added oomph I cook mine with a tin of chipotle peppers in adobo sauce (bought off amazon) the taste is amazing!

Have a look at Mick Robinson venison meat balls. (Muntjac) but works with Fallow mince. Or a venison lasagne.

Yeah that recipe with ricotta cheese and make bigger meatballs and summer in pasatta is damn fine !
Another recommend for that one we did it with roe and pork mince 50/50

Made 16 sausage rolls today, 10 left and no complaints so far.

I make mince for chilli, lasagne, bolonese and burgers. Just keep the off cuts frozen until I have 10kg and mincer comes out.

All the above plus use the mince in meat pies or pasties, cooked with all sorts of different spice mixes and veg combinations, in omelettes, stuffed peppers, meatloaf and much more. We get through so much venison mince and never get tired of it. Literally about 8kg a month for a family of four.

I agree it makes awesome lasagne and we do chilli in many different ways. I love it loaded on tortillas with cheese, jalapeños, and salsa and topped with sour cream.

Lettuce wraps are lovely if your into low carb.
Or the polish dish golabki, stuffed cabbage leaves then steweing in tomato sauce.
Tacos always worth a shout,or some nice noodles with fried chilli mince,a boiled egg on top.
