Quick question re. Tikka t3x chassis

Morning all, I’m looking at putting an MDT chassis on my 6.5CM, it’s a Tikka t3x super varmint … question is do I need a short action or long action stock as the supplier said short, and my understanding is it’s a short caliber but then I read in a few places that all the Tikkas are long action?
I’m a bit confused

It's related to magazine size, so it's a short action you need. But check the COAL of your rounds, and the max internal length of the magazines you intend to use.

can run them on either to be fair
start running 147/153gr very long and the extra length helps

Let me know if you want to sell the T3x super varmint stock please. Been after one for a while now.

I also have a 10 shot plastic magazine that takes 6.5CM for the MDT chassis if you need/want one

I have one of my Tikka's in an MDT XRS chassis and it's a very solid platform to shoot from. You will enjoy your MDT when you get one I'm sure
