Relic style rifles?

I’m not a guitarist but am aware of a trend for relic style instruments where the finish is prestressed to look like an old well used guitar. I guess the rationale is that it reflects on the owner as putting a lot of hours into playing and perfecting their craft. Will this catch on in the stalking world?

I’m still waiting for the masses to appreciate my dedication to the art of stalking rather than “you need to get a new rifle you tight ****”
