The prc version sounds interesting. You should build one.Yep, might be easier here to go 25x284 or 25 prc.
More horsepower too.

Yea I’ll just stick with my CM.So similar performance to a 25 creed.
I need to get the 25 creed barrel benchmark made for my ssg3000 mounted. Weather is slowly improving so I'll be able get out and do some load testing.Yea I’ll just stick with my CM.
An important correction based on timeliness: The 25 Creedmoor is of similar but not superior performance to the 250 Klenchblaize. So similar performance to a 25 creed.
Ahhr, you meant if you were still shooting lead. You spoke collectively.have another if we were still shooting lead
What's wrong with nosler e tips in 100gr? I thought they were a sound choice for 257bob?I’m not, so that’s the issue. Would I build another Bob knowing it’s going to just run 90-100g copper in the future, probably not
You like to stick to things that’s for sureYea I’ll just stick with my CM.
Sounds like something a true Leg would sayYep, same here. 3700 will leave you with good brass too.
I have played with one, very simple, one pass on the die and load. IIRC was making 3100 with a berger 135 from 18" barrel. Rl23 for powder.I saw 25 prc was a thing now in the states.
That will be moving
Thats not gonna work, I'd suggest looking at some dimensional drawings.
Having done a little research, I thought the best way is to buy some 30.06 Lapua brass and work from there? Its a longer process than using 7x57 but....It will for the 257 Roberts he was discussing. I'd suggest you look at some dimensional drawings![]()
What are UK laws for importing brass or getting a friend from another country to send some?Having done a little research, I thought the best way is to buy some 30.06 Lapua brass and work from there? Its a longer process than using 7x57 but....
1) Lapua don't make 7x57 I believe (or at least I can't find any in UK)
2) I also own a 7x57 rifle and don't want to get my ammunition mixed up with the same head stamp
Any advice always welcome Miles
I think that it's a grey area and whilst brass is not strictly regulated by customs, (I believe)I suspect you would struggle to find someone willing to bother shipping to you. On top of which there is VAT and customs etc. I suspect that you would struggle to find 257bob brass in EuropeWhat are UK laws for importing brass or getting a friend from another country to send some?
Is that against to law or more hassle than it's worth? Is it ok as long as it an EU country of origin?
It's not a controlled item here. No restriction as far as our firearms law is concerned. What are UK laws for importing brass or getting a friend from another country to send some?
