Any of guys on the other side of the pond shoot 257 Robert’s or ackley improved ?
What are you a heating and cooling man?Any of guys on the other side of the pond shoot 257 Robert’s or ackley improved ?
As serious as Flips is about his snacksA quarter bore for deer sized game? You can't be serious.
I don't have a Roberts, but I've used 257 Weatherby, 25-06 and 25WSSM. 25 Creedmoor is next.
Hint; Da same thing as the others but with a .257 hole in itI forgot about the .257 Weatherby - that is a serious cartridge
I'd be interested in seeing what the 25 Creedmoor will do
I shoot a 257 Roberts and love it. Very underrated calibre Imho. Not many of us in the UK for sure!Any of guys on the other side of the pond shoot 257 Robert’s or ackley improved ?
It’ll drop a deer dead in its tracks. Killed many a deer with a 257 ackley and a few with a 25 cmI forgot about the .257 Weatherby - that is a serious cartridge

Idk anything bout that mess….What are you a heating and cooling man?
Hard to find ammo and brass over there ?I shoot a 257 Roberts and love it. Very underrated calibre Imho. Not many of us in the UK for sure!
Handloading can take it to next level. I have used both 100 solids @ near 3800 fps and 110 accubonds @ 3500. Brass be damned in a hunting load.Fella in Lanark uses a 257 wetherby magnum
Never saw it on live game but over the chronograph it was impressive
I think he had to get brass from Germany
