Native vs non-native deer impacts research project

Hello,
I am a final-year BSc Environmental Land Management student at Harper Adams University and I am currently conducting research for my dissertation project titled:
“Stakeholder Attitudes Towards Increasing Deer Populations: Comparing Views on Native and Non-Native Species.”
As part of this research, I am seeking responses from individuals involved in deer management, agriculture, forestry, conservation etc.
Your insights will help improve understanding of stakeholder perspectives on deer population changes and management strategies across the UK

Survey details:
    • Anonymous participation
    • Time to complete: less than 5 minutes
Survey link: https://app.onlinesurveys.jisc.ac.u...des-towards-increasing-deer-populations-compa

I would greatly appreciate you sharing the survey with any contacts you have.

Thank you very much for your time and for contributing to this research.

Completed - but don’t have to option to submit that the biggest issue with management of any deer species is cross border management and a reluctance (or incompetence) from existing stalkers to actually get out there and shoot meaningful numbers of deer as illustrated by previous threads on here about how many deer people actually shoot.

Thanks for your time, couldn't agree more certainly when discussing transient species. I will be discussing this in the paper.

I filled it in for you, things to consider with Fallow on farms with game shoots it will push them out then suddenly a stalker has a lot of fallow,
these "wild bird" planted areas schemes can pop up for a couple of years and make a difference.
One farm I shoot has a number of Fallow turn up as the farm down the road starts his harvest earlier and the are pushed out.
