The new smaller sized certs don't fit my old le chameau cert holder wallet , wondered if anyone has found anything quality ?

The new certificates I received from Thames Valley a couple of months ago were the same size as the old ones, so not sure from what you say whether different constabularies are issuing different sized certificates?

They have gone from A4 to A5 in Hampshire so the wallets above are too big now
Some other force trialed the A5 size, and was very quick to back track on that, once people were filling the ammo sections up in a flash.
Would be worth seeing if you could get them to revert, based on a similar argument.
Worth a try actually as I need to drop my fac back in for a reprint as one of the conditions is wrong

Personally, the rare occasions I take my FAC and SC to an RFD, for example, I have them folded in a resealable clear food bag.
I generally don't take them out shooting with me, as there's no point. Purely to keep plod happy, I have photos on my phone which they can check immediately on their database.

A5 is half A4, so if you fold A5 in half lengthways it will fit the standard wallet? (so it's the same length now as the old width - and will be a quarter of A4 as opposed to the old third folding........)
In terms of the sizing it will make my tired eyes strain more to read what's on there.... let's hope not more opportunity for mistakes.....

I have folded mine so they are the same size as the A4 tri-fold - that is 99mm wide by 210mm long. They then fit into the same (VERY) old plastic sleeve that they’ve always been in.
I’m on my second set of A5 sized certs from Hampshire so I doubt very much they’ll take much notice of any request to revert back to A4 ones.
