I appreciate that this one might be a bit of a snore fest for some and perhaps I'm getting a little to far in to the weeds here but want to make the right decision on a sling.
- Considering the Blaser sling having used it a few times, found it comfortable, and assuming it must have been designed with their own rifles in mind. But it's a bit punchy on price for what it is.
- I looked at the Deer Central Pro Sling MKii Trinity, as I can see huge advantages WRT to posture (back is a bit knackered these days), and the quality looks to be excellent. However, I wondered whether the additional straps flailing around (as well as extra steps to get it off the shoulder) might grate after a while. (Deer Central Pro Leather Sling MkII + Trinity System (inclusive of Plus Pad) – Deer Central)
- A mate has the Niggeloh back pack and rates it. Same comments as the Deer Central offering in terms of not walking around lopsided and mullering my back. Also similar concerns WRT the extra straps getting in the way. Price is good, and no 'clicking' potential while undoing the fastener (Niggeloh Neoprene Rucksack Sling)
- Have just seen the Ogden sling, which looks to be astounding value, and if the quality is on par with the other gear they produce (according to the rave reviews on here), this could be a great option. (Leather Rifle Sling)
Any thoughts?
