Evening all just looking for people experience or member of Orion and also I think the clubs called Artemis rifle club going down next month for a look any feedback ?

Been twice.
First visit it rained so hard even the 200m targets disappeared.
Second visit blazing sunshine shot out to a mile - bit been there done that if i'm honest
The chaps are excellent John (owner) and the RO forgotten his name - I've met him at Bisley before, are helpful and experienced
I've heard of people camping there which would be really nice.
Take anything and everything you might possibly need with you. There's a work bench but no tools. Your phone probably won't work
The town:
The Pub is cheap for drinks, the rooms a bit shabby and cheap-ish
The town can be quite violent, locals at the bar friendly enough.
The restaurant is OK but London prices (£50 per head ), cant even remember what we had, wouldn't stay open long in London.
The downside - the facility is being used by other crews while you're there, people learning to ride trail bikes stopped play for a while by riding into the field of fire. Not cool.
Would I go again? Defiantly!
It's the only place i've been where you could safely experiment with shooting a 303 out to its theoretical limits.
