Now I class myself as a steady driver, driven all over Europe and the UK in the bat van, clean licence and Much to the wife’s dismay apparently I drive like my dad 
Now I don’t scare easily, but yesterday afternoon was a proper
trouser moment, when going to pick my daughter up from school and had a very close call with a white van with lots of rust who in his evident wisdom decided to stop sharply and then indicate to turn right, luckily for me I managed to stop by a fag paper!
A few necessary words and hand signals out of the window (those who know me, I’m very fluent in the late queens best English!) later and I carry on my way.
