Wanted: Any 3D printer guys out there?

I and every other pro user needs a cover/protector made for the pro lrf on the new hik. If not you will at some point end up with this. I think if you look at the lrf it needs to slide on from the barrel end and clip into position and have a 10mm bell shap at the front to protect the glass and keep the lrf pinging without interference?? Thoughts welcome

That’s not good… very poor design & clearly not been tested in a real world environment?!

Exactly my thoughts!! I would love to know who tests these units for them before release ?? Obviously not lads that need kit to be robust and reliable. And it’s wasn’t abused before people start!! I look after my kit but it needs to withstand work.

Thanks that's perfect, yes makes total sense re extended bit for protection.

I've been making 3d printed protectors for expensive subsea cameras recently - same issues 😅.

Give me a couple days tops and I'll make something.
