I have a problem with a pair of Zeiss Victory HT last week when out stalking I picked up a roe buck with the thermal in some cover and checked it with the glass but couldnt see it so glass down and recheck with thermal still there but had moved and was easier to see back to the binos slight adjustment to focus and got ready to take the shot and of course it moved again and i couldnt see it so back to the thermal to confirm it was still there it was and was moving slowly out of cover so back to the binos and it was visible but out of focus reset focus and back on the rifle with 8x56 swaro quick check with binos and they were out of focus the deer then decided it liked the look of something tastier and cleared of i cant understand why just by lowering slowly and then picking them back up within seconds should alter focus any ideas will be appreciated

I had same issue with some Swaro ones They insisted they had been dropped - however could not recall anything dramatic happening to them.
My Ziess Ht 8x42 are some years old and have had no problems

Are you putting them in a pack by any chance ?

Call East Coast binos on Monday and describe it as best you can. Gary will likely know straight away what issue is and judge if it needs attention.
Thanks for that as iam unsure of the warranty i bought them at the cla when it was near Leeds

V easy to pay in any case. Zeiss were smart to secure his services, none other like it in UK and I would bet much of world where Big 3 are concerned.

Might be trivial, or a worn worm gear slipping. If its manufacturer material fault it would be FOC.

I tried to ring East coast on monday but no anser just a long ring tried again today two ring then suts off any ideas anyone
